"Crazy Papers and Sister Objects," a solo exhibition by Squeak Carnwath, opens tonight at the American University Museum Katzen Art Center in Washington, D.C. from 6-9PM. The exhibition highlights Carnwath's over 30-year exploration in painting, drawing, and printmaking, most notably her Crazy Papers - preparatory drawings and working notes - that are essential elements of her studio practice.  An artist gallery talk at 5PM immediately precedes the opening reception.

Carnwath will also hold an artist lecture at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore on November 14 from 12-1PM as part of MICA's Artists at Noon lecture series.
